Welcome to Health Care Academy London (“HCA London”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling in our courses or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before registering. If you disagree, you must not use our services.
1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern all enrolments, courses, and use of services provided by Health Care Academy London through our website www.hcalondon.co.uk.
Health Care Academy London provides short courses in healthcare assisting. They are intended for personal skills development and learning purposes only.
By enrolling in a course or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Registration & Enrolment
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and all activities under your account.
You must not allow another person to access or use your account.
3. Course Access
Access to a course is granted once payment has been received.
Access is provided for the period stated in the course description at enrolment.
All course materials remain the intellectual property of HCA London and are provided for personal study only.
4. Fees & Payment
All course fees are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change.
Fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment unless an instalment plan is agreed in writing.
Payments are accepted via the available methods. Once enrolled and paid, fees will not be altered for that enrolment.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel your course within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not accessed the course materials.
Once you have accessed or downloaded course content, your right to cancel is lost.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to in**@**********co.uk.
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 30 days.
Course fees are non-transferable and cannot be assigned to another learner.
6. Certificates
A Certificate of Completion (digital or printed) may be requested after successfully completing a course.
Learners are responsible for downloading and securely storing their certificates.
Records are only retained for a limited time in line with our data retention policy.
7. Learner Conduct
Misuse of the website (e.g., hacking, bypassing security, unlawful activity) is strictly prohibited.
Misuse or breach of these Terms may result in suspension or termination without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
All course content, branding, and materials remain the intellectual property of HCA London or its licensors.
A limited, personal, non-transferable licence is granted for private study only.
Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution may result in legal action.
9. Termination of Access
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your licence ends immediately, and you must delete any copies of our materials.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
HCA London complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
By enrolling, you consent to our collection and use of your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
We may use your contact details for course updates, certificates, and marketing. You may unsubscribe at any time.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or system failures.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
